World Bio Markets is an annual conference that convenes key players in the bioeconomy space. The conference showcases advances in bioeconomy, including developments in the biobased chemical industry, opportunities for biomass power development and innovations along the biofuel value chain.

Mike Knauf, CEO of Rivertop, participated again in 2016, following on many successful appearances in years past. He discussed how to frame the bio-based chemicals industry in the context of the global petrochemical industry: how to navigate the challenges and capitalize on the opportunities. The panel was part of the Bio-based Chemicals Stream.
