Rivertop Renewables Expands Team to Support Commercialization
AFTER A SUCCESSFUL INVESTMENT ROUND, RIVERTOP HIRES ELEVEN NEW EMPLOYEES IN SIX MONTHS
(November 13, 2014) MISSOULA, Mont. — Rivertop Renewables, a Montana-based producer of novel chemicals, has expanded its team by more than 50 percent after hiring 11 new staff members over the past six months. This followed a successful $26 million investment from Cargill, First Green Partners and existing investors. The new hires come as Rivertop prepares to begin commercial production of its glucaric acid-based products for consumer and industrial markets. The new hires are spread across multiple departments of the company and are emblematic of the company’s evolution from research and development into a commercial production phase.
