Rivertop's First Commercial Plant is Under Construction


We officially began construction of our first commercial plant located at DanChemTechnologies, Inc.’s (DTI) facility in Danville, Virginia!

DTI will begin production of Headwaters® Corrosion Inhibitor and Riose® Detergent Builder, Rivertop’s sustainable, high preforming, cost-competitive, glucaric acid-derived products, starting in the summer of 2015. At full capacity, the plant will produce up to 10 million pounds of Rivertop Renewables product per year.

As a scientist, I believe that it is important for us to foster the curiosity of the next generation,” said Kelly. “The more that young students meet and interact with passionate and engaging scientists currently working in various fields, the more likely that they will pursue science careers in the future.”

It's OK to Use the Dishwasher...


You know we like dishwashers here at Rivertop. After all, we have the largest dishwasher lab in the US (or top 5, at least). Which is why we’re so excited to see none other than the Washington Post dishing the dirt on why dishwashing is actually better for the environment than hand washing.
